AI consultant
Practical AI for small businesses: find where it saves time, then put it to work.

AI that earns its place
Most businesses don’t need an AI strategy deck. They need someone to look at how work actually gets done, spot the tasks AI can handle well, and build something that works. We audit your processes, recommend the right tools, build and test the automations, and train your team, so you get real time savings rather than another subscription nobody uses.
Fast feedback loops, driven by data
We start small, with one workflow, and measure the result: hours saved, response times and errors caught. You try each change in your real work and tell us what helps, and we refine it straight away. Only once something is proven do we roll it out further, so every pound you spend is backed by evidence.

Honest advice, not hype
We don’t resell software, and we’ll tell you when AI isn’t the right answer. Some tasks are better left to people, or to a simple spreadsheet. Our job is to save you time and money, not to sell you the latest tool.
AI case study
Dash Audits is a web app we built that uses AI to produce structured CRO, UX and SEO website audits. It manages the prompts and context behind the scenes, so teams get consistent, verifiable recommendations every time, rather than generic AI output.

Frequently asked questions
What does an AI consultant do?
An AI consultant looks at how your business works, finds the tasks AI can do well, recommends the right tools and puts them to work. A good one also trains your team and tells you where AI isn’t worth it.
How much does an AI consultant cost?
We charge £80 per hour with no minimum project size. An AI readiness audit for a small business usually takes a few hours, and we’ll give you an estimate before any work starts.
Do I need to be technical?
No. We explain everything in plain English, build the setup for you and leave clear guides your team can follow.
How quickly will I see results?
Most clients see time savings from their first automated workflow within a few weeks. We start with the quickest wins so the benefits show early.
How do you measure the return on AI?
Before changing anything we record how long tasks take and how often mistakes happen. Each new workflow is measured against that starting point, so you can see exactly what it saves.
Is my data safe?
We choose tools with clear data policies, avoid sending sensitive customer data where it isn’t needed, and keep a person in the loop for important decisions. Everything is set up with UK GDPR in mind.
Which AI tools do you work with?
We’re not tied to any provider. We regularly use tools from Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (ChatGPT and Codex) and Google (Gemini), alongside automation and reporting tools, and pick whatever suits your budget and needs.
Will AI replace my staff?
That isn’t our aim. We use AI to remove repetitive admin so your team can spend more time on customers and the work that needs a human.
What if my team doesn’t want to use it?
We involve them from the start, build around how they already work and train them properly. Tools people helped shape are tools they actually use.
Can you help us write an AI policy?
Yes. We can draft a short, practical policy covering which tools staff can use, what data can be shared with them and when a person must check the output.
Can you build custom AI tools?
Yes. Where off-the-shelf tools fall short, we build custom web apps and integrations, like our Dash Audits platform.
Brett, COO at UnBarred Brewery said this:
We’ve been working with Ben on an ad-hoc basis to help fix issues, improve user experience, tweak design and functionality to help make the experience better for our customers. Ben has been great at communicating, ideas, explaining and why how things need to be done and create easy to use guides if we or anyone else ever needs to revisit the work that has been done.
