Google Analytics agency
Set up GA4 properly, fix the tracking that’s gone wrong and get reports you can trust, from a UK web developer you can talk to.

What a Google Analytics agency does
A Google Analytics agency makes sure your website is measuring the right things, then helps you act on what it shows. That means setting up GA4 and Google Tag Manager correctly, tracking the actions that matter (enquiries, calls, purchases), and turning the numbers into plain-English reports. If you’re unsure whether your data can be trusted, or you never got round to moving over from Universal Analytics, this is where we start.
Who we work with
We work with online shops that need their revenue tracked accurately, local service businesses that want to know which marketing brings in calls and enquiries, and small teams who have GA4 installed but don’t trust or use the data. You don’t need a big budget or a technical team, just a website and a question you want answered.

GDPR, cookies and consent mode
UK GDPR and PECR mean you need consent before most analytics cookies are set. We configure Google consent mode to respect your visitors’ choices, make sure your cookie banner and GA4 agree with each other, and help you document what you collect and why. You get accurate data without cutting corners on privacy.
Frequently asked questions
What’s the difference between GA4 and Universal Analytics?
Universal Analytics stopped processing data in 2023. GA4 is built around events rather than page views and sessions, so the setup, reports and terminology are different. If you never migrated, you’ll have no new data from Universal Analytics and need GA4 set up to start measuring again.
How much does Google Analytics setup cost?
Our Google Analytics work is charged at £75 per hour. After a free call we’ll estimate the hours based on your site and what needs tracking, so there are no surprises. A basic GA4 setup is usually much quicker than a full ecommerce tracking build.
How long does it take?
A straightforward GA4 and Tag Manager setup can be live within a few days. Ecommerce tracking, custom events and dashboards take longer, and we always leave time to test before relying on the numbers.
Is Google Analytics GDPR compliant in the UK?
It can be, if it’s set up properly. You need a cookie banner that asks for consent before analytics cookies are set, Google consent mode configured to match, and a privacy policy that explains what you collect. We set all of this up as part of the work.
Can you fix our existing GA4 setup?
Yes. Most projects start with an audit of what’s already there. We find duplicate tags, missing conversions and spam traffic, fix them and tell you what changed, rather than starting again unless it’s the quickest way.
Do you work with Shopify and WooCommerce?
Yes. Once tracking is in place, we check the revenue in GA4 against your store’s own orders so the numbers match. Because we also build websites, we can make the code changes ourselves.
Can you train me to use my own reports?
Yes. We’ll walk through your reports in plain English, show you where to find the numbers you care about, and can build a Looker Studio dashboard so you don’t need to open GA4 every time.
What access will you need?
Editor access to your Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager accounts, and admin access to your website (WordPress, Shopify or other).
