SEO migration service
Move platform, domain or design without losing the Google rankings you’ve worked for.

Protect your organic traffic
Most websites lose traffic after a migration because URLs change, redirects are missed or content gets dropped. We plan, check and monitor every step so your rankings and revenue carry across to the new site.

Frequently asked questions
How much does an SEO migration cost?
Our SEO migration service is charged at £75 per hour. After a free call we’ll give you an estimate of hours based on the size of your website and the type of migration, so there are no surprises.
How many hours does a typical migration take?
A small brochure website with under 50 pages can often be covered in a handful of hours. Larger ecommerce sites with thousands of product and category URLs need more time for mapping and testing. We’ll always agree the estimate with you before starting.
Will I lose rankings when I migrate my website?
Some movement in the first few weeks is normal while Google recrawls your site. With a complete redirect map and careful checks, rankings usually settle back to where they were, and we monitor them closely to catch anything that doesn’t.
What types of migration do you handle?
Platform changes (such as WordPress to Shopify or WooCommerce), domain changes, redesigns that change URLs, HTTPS and hosting moves, and merging several websites into one.
When should I get in touch?
Ideally before the new website is built, so SEO is part of the plan from the start. The earlier we’re involved, the fewer hours are needed to fix things later.
Can you help if we’ve already migrated and traffic has dropped?
Yes. We can audit the migration, find missing redirects, lost pages and indexing problems, and put a recovery plan in place.
Do you work with our developer or agency?
Yes. We can supply the redirect map and SEO checklist to your developer, or implement the changes ourselves on WordPress and Shopify.
What access will you need?
Google Search Console, Google Analytics, access to the current website and CMS, and the staging site before launch.
How long do you monitor after launch?
We recommend at least four to six weeks of monitoring, checking indexing, rankings, 404 errors and organic traffic against the pre-migration benchmark.
