Brett, COO at UnBarred Said this:

We’ve been working with Ben on a ad-hoc basis to help fix issues with our website, improve user experience, tweak design and functionality to help make the experience better for our customers. Ben has been great at communicating, ideas, explaining how and why things need to be done and create easy to use guides if we or anyone else ever needs to revisit the work that has been done.

Frequently Asked Questions

Business owners that are:

  • Tired of having to keep on top of the websites themselves.
  • Not interested in hiring full time.
  • Looking to stay in touch with the market trends.
  • Require design & development support.
  • In need of honest feedback.

We optimise shop goals depending on your budget.

During our 30 minute onboarding call we’ll need to learn about your business and any goals / objectives that you have.

We can carry out extensive research and identify current best practices within your industry along with data to back up any update suggestions. We must charge hourly for all research carried out. This is because websites and customer requirements are constantly changing and implementation is unique.

We will aim to find days and times that are convenient for you – they must be within standard business days & hours.

We use Trello in order to keep track of website progress. This software is very simple to learn, and enables all discussions to be kept in one place as opposed to multiple emails.

The ideal workflow will follow this cycle:

  1. We’ll create a new Trello note for each website suggestion with supporting details and research.
  2. We will ping a member of your team to give feedback.
  3. If the idea is approved we’ll carry out the update.
  4. Any progress with be tracked in the note.
  5. When finished, we’ll mark the note as complete and move it to the complete pile.

Whenever we make modifications to the theme code or create custom sections, we’ll note down the details in a Google Sheets Spreadsheet document. Documenting these updates is very important because if you decide to upgrade to the latest version of your theme, any customisations will be lost.

We believe that meetings are sometimes necessary to help realise objectives. We can do these over a coffee in person, or over Zoom.

  • Internationalisation of websites
  • Headless frontend solutions

We can show your team how to use the website and prepare easy to follow documentation.

Website Case Study

UnBarred, a Brighton-based micro brewery, worked with us to improve their Shopify website through theme updates, custom functionality, and on-page SEO improvements. We increased search visibility by refining meta tags, identifying new keyword opportunities, and improving the Beer Club page UX, alongside redesigning their transactional and automated emails to better support customers and the internal team.
